Chubzilla Announces New Sponsor;

Commits to WoO LMS

Bear Lake, PA --- Chub Frank Racing will enter the 2005 season with a new sponsor and a season-long commitment to the World of Outlaws Late Model Series (WoO LMS). Driver Chub Frank, known by his multitude of race fans across the country as ‘Chubzilla’, will vie for the 2005 WoO LMS championship title aboard his Corry Rubber, Lester Building Products, All Star Performance, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Rocket Chassis Monte Carlo #1* along with new sponsor VP Racing Fuels. Chubzilla will start the season off with the season kick-0ff for the WoO LMS at Volusia County Speedway in Florida.

“It’s always nice to start the season off with a new sponsor and we’re mighty grateful that Jim Kelly of VP Racing Fuels green-lighted this associate sponsorship package for the 2005 season,” stated Frank. Jim Kelly is the Regional Manager for VP's Northeast operation based in Newark, DE. “VP Racing Fuels is an industry leader and we’re going to be running their brand all season on the World of Outlaws Late Model Series tour.”

Chubzilla’s 2005 season will jumpstart at Volusia for the two WoO LMS events and the four United Midwestern Promoters (UMP events that will be held February 14-19. The February 17 & 19 dates are WoO LMS sanctioned. “We made a commitment to run the entire World of Outlaws tour this year,” said Frank. “We’re looking at 45-50 of their events plus some other sanctioned and non-sanctioned events.” Frank is the defending WORLD 100 champion that is held annually at Eldora Speedway. “And we’re excited about the 15 televised races that will be offered with the World of Outlaw series.”

The famed Chubzilla Rocket Chassis #1* will retain it’s familiar ‘Chubzilla blue’ color scheme for the season.

The team is currently working hard to have everything prepared for commencing the new racing season.

“Our team has been busy, that’s for sure,” understated Frank. “There are a couple irons in the fire that Mike (Farr) and Ron (Slavic) are working hard on. We’re optimistic that we will obtain further financial support to run the World of Outlaws tour full-force. We won’t make East Bay this year because on Wednesday I am traveling to Franklin, TN to pick up our truck and hauler and we have to get it ready, serviced and stocked and get the cars finished.

Besides Farr and Slavic, returning crew members of the team include Rich ‘Boom’ Briggs, honored as the 2004 Crew Chief of the Year by the WoO LMS, Rich Hart, Bruce Repine and Wayne "Whack" Neureiter. “We have a good team, and everyone is on the same page,” said Frank. “We’re fired up, locked and loaded and ready for the racing season. I can’t wait to get going. We’re going to try our best to take a shot at the World of Outlaws championship and I want to defend the WORLD 100 championship, too. But just as importantly, on behalf of Mary and myself we want all of the fans to know we are excited and looking forward to seeing all of them throughout the season.”
