CHUBZILLA LOCKED & LOADED FOR

SEASON TO COMMENCE

March 29, 2005

“We’re working like crazy trying to get the garage done and the cars done,” stated Chub Frank who is preparing for the start of the bulk of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series (WoO LMS) season to commence after a three-night stand at Volusia Raceway Park in Florida last February. Frank will be chasing after the 2005 WoO LMS championship this season behind the wheel of his behind the wheel of his Lester Building Products, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Rocket Chassis Monte Carlo #1 Up next for the WoO LMS and Chubzilla will be April 8th at “The Rock”/Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland, MD followed the next night, April 9th with a stop at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway in Saluda,VA. Both of the $10,000 to win events will mark first ever appearances of the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series to the racing facilities.

“Those tracks, we have run good at both of them,” commented Chubzilla. “Actually the next four races, we go to Lernerville and Hagerstown after that, so all four of them I’m looking forward to. They’re also close to home. We’ve got some time on three of them. Virginia Motor Speedway, we’ve only raced at once but it was win (laughs)! So that’s a good thing.”

“The cars are about done, we’re waiting on a motor and once we get this stuff done I’m hoping to be all ready by the 8th and hit it heavy. I just want to get the garage done and we’re almost there. Between the garage and hauler we know once we start racing it will be hammer down which we are looking for.”

Right after the two race swing to The Rock and VMS the WoO LMS will return to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA on April 29th before moving to Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD on April 30.

Chubzilla is also fired up about a particular race that will be held during the Fourth of July weekend at a track that is near and dear to him. It will be an anniversary celebration and homecoming combined on Saturday July 2 when the WoO LMS make their first-ever appearance and when hometown hero Chubzilla leads the WoO LMS ‘Dirty Dozen’ into New York to help the multitude of race fans celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stateline Speedway. The 50th anniversary of Stateline Speedway holds a special meaning for Chub Frank as his father, Jerry, was one of the four founders of the speedway a half-century ago and it’s the race track Chub Frank grew up at.

“I’ll be home on the 4th of July!” exclaimed Chubzilla when asked about the inaugural appearance of the WoO LMS at his home track. “We were just talking about that and the last time I was home for the 4th of July was along time (laughs)!”

“I’m looking forward to it. That track is nice and you can race all over it. I just hope the weather is good, you never know what you’ll get for weather in racing. I think (Stateline owner) Franny (Seamons) will get a good crowd and there’s a lot of guys the people up here haven’t seen before and they haven’t seen us too often.”

“We’re definitely getting a good response to that race. People that stop by the garage all say they can’t wait to see it. It’ll be a great deal for everyone.”
