Chubzilla Races In Home State

Bear Lake, PA --- Chub ‘Chubzilla’ Frank and the 1* Lester Buildings, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Lake Shore Paving, Custom Race Engines, Rocket Chassis team spent the past weekend in his home state of Pennsylvania but only qualifying events were able to get in before inclement weather postponed the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned Pittsburgher 100.

During preliminary action Chubzilla qualified 13th fastest out of the 54 car field and won his heat race which put him in the dash race that determines the top four starting spots of the main event.

On Saturday wet weather and a dire forecast of more forced the postponement of Saturday night’s 18th annual Pittsburgher 100 at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and PPMS and World of Outlaws Late Model Series officials decided early Saturday afternoon to reschedule the completion of

the Pittsburgher 100 weekend to Sunday October 8.

Chubzilla will be on the road this weekend and headed west for the 3rd Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals, September 28, 29 & 30. They will qualify Thursday night, September 28, and race again on Saturday, September 30 in the 100 lap Feature.
