Bear Lake, Pa. 4/21/02

After two weeks of being postponed due to weather Chub started off the "northern" portion of the 2002 Renegade DirtCar Racing Series schedule at K.C. Raceway near Chillicothe, OH. The 1* Team made the trip with heavy hearts as STAR The Team Mascot was hit by a car Friday afternoon. Chub drew a number 3 pill for qualifying which made him the 1st car to qualify and the track got faster as more cars ran on it, he qualified 18th out of 46 drivers to take time and that put him in the 2nd heat where he finished 3rd and that put him in the 12th starting position. Chub worked his way up to the 5th position where it looked like he was going to finish but with one lap to go Chub ran off of turn 3 and had to go to the rear of the field and he finished 11th.
