Volusia County Speedway Daytona Beach, Florida 2/12/02 Tonight was the first night of racing at Volusia County Speedway. Over 70 cars signed in to one lap of qualifying for tonight’s 30-lap event. Chub started on the pole for the 4th heat race and walked away from the rest and won the heat race easily, that put him in the 4th position for tonight’s race. Chub started the feature on a severely rubbered up race track on the outside of row 2 and dropped back to about 10th before he could get his preferred line, he then moved back up to 7th and finished in that position. 1.
