Day 4 at Volusia County Speedway

Daytona Beach, Florida 2/14/02

Tonight at Volusia County Speedway the track was very wet and took a while to run it in. The DIRT Modifieds were back for tonight’s racing program with the UMP Late Models. Chub drew a number 4 qualifying position and qualified 27^th that put him in the 3^rd heat race starting 5^th where he finished 4^th they only take 3 cars to the feature. So now he’s in the b-main and finished 2^nd that put him in the a-main in the 24^th starting position and Chub had the 1* crew make some minor changes to the car. Chub started the race and quickly started his charge thru the field by ½ way in the 30 lap feature he was in 11^th and still moving to the front when the checkered flag fell at 30 laps Chub recorded an 8^th place finish.
