Bear Lake, PA --- Chub shook down his new truck, hauler and race car last Saturday night by appearing at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway for their weekly show as the defending Renegade Dirt Car Racing Series champion gets set to begin the “northern” season of the Renegade tour this coming weekend in his Corry Rubber/Corry Laser/Nystrom's Auto Sales/Draime Racing Engines/Rocket Chassis /Pierotti Motorsports/Farr MotorSports Chevrolet Monte Carlo #1*.

After winning his heat race Chub charged through the field against the tough competition that PPMS offers ending up with a third place feature finish.

This coming weekend Chub fans can catch “Chubzilla” in action when the Renegade series invades Bedford (PA) Speedway and the historic Hagerstown (MD) Speedway who will be hosting the Renegade DirtCar sanctioning organization Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 respectively. Nearly $60,000 in total purse money is up for grabs over the two days of racing.

D.K.M. Racing, Inc., the management team at Bedford Speedway, will present the $5,000 to win "Bedford Bash 40" at the slightly-banked 1/2 mile fairgrounds speedway April 25. The $27,000 purse event at Bedford Speedway will mark only the fourth time that the Renegade DirtCar Racing Series has ever appeared at the historic facility. Frank has one previous Renegade victory at Bedford.

Hagerstown Speedway owner/promoter Frank Plessinger welcomes the Renegade series back to his semi-banked 1/2 mile speedway for the 43rd time (more than any other track) in series history April 26 for the running of the $7,000 to win "22nd Annual Stanley Schetrompf Memorial 50". Frank also has a previous Renegade feature win at Hagerstown.
