Sugar Grove, PA --- Former racetrack owner Janet Frank of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away early Friday morning April 30, 2004. Mrs. Frank, who was a co-owner of Eriez Speedway in Pennsylvania and Stateline Speedway in New York for many years with her husband, Jerry Frank, is also the mother of nationally known dirt Late Model star Chub Frank. Mrs. Frank passed away from complications from a brain tumor that was first discovered last October 18.

Mrs. Frank collapsed at her Sugar Grove, PA home October 18 and was then rushed to an area hospital before being transferred to the Hamot Medical Center. After a battery of tests it was determined that Mrs. Frank was suffering from a low-grade brain tumor. Mrs. Frank's condition was stabilized in the week prior to the surgery, a procedure that lasted roughly 3 1/2 hours. Since that time she has been undergoing continuing treatment.

Viewing hours will be held Sunday afternoon May 2 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the McKinney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday May 3 at 10:00 AM at the McKinney Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Sugar Grove, PA. For additional information contact the funeral home at: 814-489-3660.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry Frank, sons Chub Frank and Jim Frank and daughter, Joni Frank-Parker.
