Chub Goes Top Less At Hagerstown!

July 31, 2002 – Bear Lake, Pa. 

   Chub and the 1* Corry Rubber, Corry Laser, Nystrom’s Auto Sales, Draime Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, Pierotti Motorsports, Chevrolet Monte Carlo team made a last minute decision to take off Wednesday for Hagerstown Md. for The 55th Anniversary Topless paying $4,000 to the winner. 41 cars showed up for the event and Boom Briggs drew a number 2 which put Chub starting on the pole for the 1^st heat race in which he finished in 4^th so now Chub starts 13^th in the 55 lap race. Chub moved up quickly to race with Nathan Durboraw, Gary Stuhler and Tom Myers for the top four spots Chub and Nathan almost got into each other with Chub running high and Nathan low, when Nathan moved up and forced Chub over the cushion Chub hung on to finish second with Nathan Durboraw, winning Gary Stuhler was 3^rd and Tom Myers was 4^th.
