Not
everything goes as planed for the team, Chub and the team pulled out of
Shinnston WV. this morning
headed for Portsmouth, OH. For the Renegade DirtCar Series race at Portsmouth
Raceway Park where owners Boone, Joyce and Tim Coleman along with
promoter Max Warnock welcomed the Series back to their semi-banked
3/8ths mile track Sunday for the running of the $15,000 to win
"Pepsi 100". While
traveling across RT 50 just 10 miles out side of Parkersburg, WV. Chub
noticed that the trailer had a problem. Chub made call to Dave Poske for
his assistance and Dave started making calls looking for parts. Dale
Beitler owner of Davey Johnson’s 19j transporter followed Chub down to
Dave Poske’s Performance Parts and unloaded their backup car and
loaded the 1* and parts on board with their car and put their backup car
in Chub’s trailer where it remained parked for the night. Chub and
crew left for Portsmouth with Beitler’s for tonight’s Renegade race.
Dave continued to look for parts for Chub. The team will return tonight
to Poske’s with Dale Beitler and reload the 1* and try to make the
needed repairs to the trailer.

and the crew arrived at Portsmouth and qualified in 11th out
of 48 cars entered for the “Pepsi 100”. Chub lined up in the 3rd
