“Chub Races at Raceway 7”

Bear Lake, PA – Chub and the 1* team went to Raceway 7 on Friday where he is the All-Time Late Model Leading Winner with 33 wins for General Aluminum Night, $3000 to win for the Late Models. With the Renegade DirtCar Series off until tomorrow night at Portsmouth Raceway Park Saturday (8/2) as P.R.P. owners Boone, Joyce and Tim Coleman along with promoter Max Warnock, present the $10,000 to win "Dupont-Auto Value-Barbour Auto Parts 100". Chub the Three-time defending Renegade DirtCar Racing Series champion leads the winner’s list in series action at P.R.P. with six victories. Saturday's stop at P.R.P., the 31st RDRS sanctioned event at the semi-banked 3/8ths mile track, will include a complete program of CARRERA SHOCKS "Challenge the Clock" time trials, BRODIX, INC. heat races, MASTERSBILT RACE CARS "B" Mains and the ISKY RACING CAMS dash prior to the feature event. The 100-lap feature event will utilize the "Delaware Double-File Restarts". In addition, on the racing card will be the P.R.P. Modified’s and Limited Late Models.

Chub uses Raceway 7 to test new ideas, some work and some do not but with virtually no time to test out new ideas this is the best way for Chub to do it. Chub and the Corry Rubber, Corry Laser, Nystrom's Auto Sales, Draime Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, Pierotti Motorsports, Farr MotorSports Chevrolet Monte Carlo, lined up tonight in the first heat race in the 10th starting position, and raced up to the 7th finishing position, putting him on the pole for the consolation race, Chub won that race and started in 19th in the $3000 to win a-main event. Chub drove the 1* up to the top 5 by the 11th lap and ran in 5th thru the 15th lap and ended the event in 7th tonight. Now the entire team travels to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth Ohio for tomorrows $10,000 to win "Dupont-Auto Value-Barbour Auto Parts 100" for the Renegade DirtCar Series.

Friday August 8th at Raceway 7 in Conneaut, OH.
