Bear Lake, PA --- Janet Frank, wife of former Stateline-Eriez speedways co-owner Jerry Frank and mother of famed Renegade Dirt Car Racing Series champion Chub Frank, continues in her recovery from an October 30 brain surgery procedure and now looks ahead at additional treatment. Mrs. Frank also would like to extend her deepest regards to all the many people who offered their concerns and comfort during her recent hospital stay.

“I would like say thank you to all of the wonderful people who sent so many cards, flowers and especially the prayers,” said Mrs. Frank from her residence in Sugar Grove, PA. “It meant so much to me and my family that so many people cared and were so compassionate.”

“I would also like to extend a special thank you to the Renegade Dirt Car Racing Series, John Flinner, Steve Schnarz, Ron Slavic and Mike & Bobbie Farr. I certainly hope everyone will keep the prayers coming!”

Mrs. Frank collapsed at her Sugar Grove, PA home October 18 and was then rushed to an area hospital before being transferred to the Hamot Medical Center. After a battery of tests it was determined that Mrs. Frank was suffering from a low-grade brain tumor. Mrs. Frank's condition was stabilized in the week prior to the surgery, a procedure that lasted roughly 3 1/2 hours.

This week Mrs. Frank will begin kemo and radiation treatments at a local hospital.

“I would just like to thank everybody for all those cards and prayers and please keep it up,” commented Mrs. Frank’s son, Chub. “She still has a long way to go. But the entire family appreciates the outpouring of support and we hope they all keep those prayers coming.”

Mrs. Frank and her husband Jerry are former co-owners of the Stateline (NY) Speedway and Eriez (PA) Speedway's and have been solid supporters of their son Chub's racing endeavors. Mr. & Mrs. Frank have two other children; a son Jim and daughter Joni Frank-Parker.
