Chubzilla Competes At Eldora

Bear Lake, PA --- Chub ‘Chubzilla’ Frank and the 1* Lester Buildings, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Lake Shore Paving, Custom Race Engines, Rocket Chassis team returned to Eldora Speedway last weekend for the WORLD 100 where the 2004 WORLD 100 champion again made the starting field.

Chubzilla time in 13th fastest over the 196 car field and started fourth in his heat race and finished third, putting him into the starting field where he finished 15th in the main event’s final rundown that left Chubzilla somewhat displeased with the car’s performance.

"Something's wrong with this car, it felt like I was driving a lumber wagon it didn't have any movement at all,” commented Chubzilla after the race. "I'll take it home and go through all of it this week I'll find it.”

Up next for Chubzilla is World of Outlaws Late Model Series competition at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pa., on Sept. 22-23 for the Pittsburgher 100.
