Chubzilla, Kid Rocket & Fans To Help In Hurricane Relief Effort

Two dirt Late Model stars, along with their many fans, will be making a contribution to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort next weekend at the 37th Annual WORLD 100. Chub Frank and Josh Richards, through Farr Motorsports and Slavic Custom Shirts & Decals, will be donating 10% of all their apparel sales during the 37th Annual WORLD 100 weekend to the American Red Cross. Both Frank, known as ‘Chubzilla’ and Richards, known as ‘Kid Rocket’, will have their apparel available at the Slavic Custom Shirts & Decals souvenir trailer located on Eldora’s ‘Souvenir Row’. Additionally, fans will also be able to make donations to the America Red Cross at the Slavic Souvenir Trailer throughout the weekend and beyond.

“After seeing the news about what happened down in Louisiana and Mississippi, and thinking back to the outpouring of support I got early last year after we lost our shop in the fire, we thought this might be some small way to give back,” stated Chub Frank.

“This was Mike Farr of Farr Motorsports’ idea,” added Ron Slavic, owner of Slavic Custom Shirts & Decals. “And we think it is a small way to contribute to those folks who need the help. We will send 10% of all wearing apparel sales at the WORLD 100 to the American Red Cross and fans can also write checks to help the cause. All checks should be made payable to the America Red Cross and they can drop them off at the souvenir trailer over the weekend.”

Fans wishing to make donations directly to the American Red Cross directly can drop their checks off at the Slavic Souvenir Trailer or mail them to: Slavic Corporation, 1189 Connellsville Road, Lemont Furnance, PA 15456. Make checks payable to the America Red Cross.

Chubzilla is the defending WORLD 100 champion and will return to defend his title in his Lester Buildings, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Custom Race Engines, Rocket Chassis #1*.

Kid Rocket will be entering his first WORLD 100 as a driver in his Mark Richards Racing-owned #1 Seubert Calf Ranches, Ace Metal Works, MCB Motorsports, Hoosier Racing Tires, Rocket Chassis, Cornett Engines Grand Prix.
