Bear Lake, PA --- Chub ‘Chubzilla’ Frank headed south to Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway in Saluda, VA over the weekend to participate in the ‘Rumble On The River 50’ presented by Thurston Spring Service, Inc., that was originally scheduled for April 8 before the $45,000 purse event was pushed back one week by rain. The race was captured before the SPEED cameras for a July 16 broadcast. Chubzilla competed in World of Outlaws Late Model Series competition driving his Lester Buildings, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Lake Shore Paving, Custom Race Engines, Rocket Chassis #1*.

Chubzilla qualified ninth fast out of the 41 car field and took a third place finish in his heat race before finishing eighth in the ‘Rumble On The River 50’ presented by Thurston Spring Service, Inc. Currently Chubzilla is fifth in points, only 24 points out of first place.

Chubzilla sponsor Lester Buildings had a display at the Virginia Motor Speedway with company representatives on hand to meet and greet the many fans. Lester Buildings will also have a display and be on hand with Chubzilla the following weekend of April 21-22 at the Dirt Track at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC for the upcoming $50,000 to win Colossal 100.

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will travel Tuesday, April 18 to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Penn. for the April 7 rain postponed $10,000 to win ‘Spring Showdown In Sarver Town 50’. Additionally, pre-orders will be taken at the Chubzilla souvenir trailer this weekend and at the upcoming Colossal 100 race at the Dirt Track at Lowe’s later this month for the all-new Chubzilla/Lester Buildings ADC diecast car(s) that will be available in late summer.
