ChubZilla ‘Wows ‘Em’ At 25th DTWC

Chub Frank had a successful weekend in his Lester Buildings, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Custom Race Engines, Rocket Chassis #1* when he attended the three-day 25th Anniversary Dirt Track World Championship at KC Raceway and turned in a hard-charging, show-stopping performance.

Chubzilla timed in 42nd quickest in the 130 car field and during his heat race finished fourth which relegated him to one of the three B Mains where he crossed the checkers in second in the first B Main putting him in a 22nd starting spot in the 26 car field.

Once the starting field got the green flag in the 100-lap anniversary event Chubzilla proceeded to be one of the brightest stars of the spectacular show. Starting 22nd Chubzilla cut through the field with a hard-charging onslaught that brought him all the way into fifth when the checkers waved in front of a huge crowd approving his show-stopping performance.

For Chubzilla’s outstanding performance he was awarded the VP Racing Fuels Hard Charger of the DTWC Award by Steve Scheidker of VP Racing Fuels.

During the DTWC weekend ChubZilla also appeared as a special guest on the Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil DTWC pre-race show sponsored by VP Racing Fuels live from KC Raceway to a national audience.

Chubzilla will be back on the World of Outlaws Stacker 2 Late Model Series trail soon as the World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series countdown to the end of the 2005 season and championship begins in less than two weeks. The stars and cars of the World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series will make a first ever appearance at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick (Waynesville),GA Wednesday, October 26th before closing the season at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville (Daytona Beach),FL Friday and Saturday, October 28th and 29th.

The SPEED Channel cameras will capture all the exciting action of the October 28th and 29th “Gator 100” at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville (Daytona Beach),FL. The broadcast will air Saturday, December 3rd at 4:00p.m. EDT. The SPEED Channel cameras have caught all the action of thirteen of fourteen WoO Stacker 2® Late Model Series 2005 events schedule to be broadcast on SPEED Channel
