July 18th, 2002 - Bear Lake, Pa. For the second time this year Chub and The first time
ever for The Renegade DirtCar Racing Series will venture across the
Mississippi River to the state of Iowa. Chub with the assistance from Rick
(Boom) & Steve Briggs took the 1* team and left
Wednesday night for the 12 hour trip to 34
Raceway
in West Burlington, IA, owner Johnny Johnson and promoter Ron Jackson
presented the $10,000 to win "Burlington Bash 50" 50 lap feature
event at their high-banked 3/8ths mile speedway offering a purse nearing

drivers signed in for tonights round one of two of The Renegade DirtCar
Racing Series "Battle of the Hawkeye State" with the second
scheduled for Saturday night at Farley Speedway in Farley, IA.with Chub
racing tomorrow night with The Northern All Stars at Farley.
Tonight Chub qualified the Corry
Rubber, Corry Laser,
Nystrom’s Auto Sales, Draime Racing
Engines, Rocket Chassis,
Pierotti Motorsports, Farr MotorSports, Chevrolet Monte Carlo 22nd
and started 6th in the second heat race, Chub raced to a
5th place finish in his heat race and they take 4 to the main
event so now Chub starts 2nd in the 1st b-main and
finished 2nd which transferred him into tonight’s A-main
starting in the 19th position for the 50 lap "Burlington
Bash 50". Chub worked his way up to 13th place in the
50-lap event and finished in that position. The official finishing order
for the "Burlington Bash 50" was 1.

regained the point lead tonight by 20 points over Chub, now its on to
Farley Speedway for the
Northern All Stars then The Renegade DirtCar Racing Series on Saturday.
