"Farley 75", with a purse in excess of $43,000, at the
high-banked 1/2 mile speedway in Farley,

lead Thursday night to Mike Balzano at 34
Raceway in West Burlington, IA, and not making last nights race at
Farley Speedway Chub
and the 1* team stayed right at Farley
Speedway last night and were determined to make something out of what
appeared to be a bad trip to Iowa for the 2 time defending Renegade
DirtCar Series Champion. Chub,
Boom and Steve worked on the 1* until after 2 am Saturday and started
working again early Saturday morning to get ready for "Farley
75" Renegade DirtCar Racing Series points race. Chub qualified the 1*
in 5th out of 36 drivers registered for the event, Chub line up
in the first heat in the 3rd starting position and finished in
6th Chub knew right away this was going to be another long
night as he had his little motor in and needed his big motor in the car.
Now Chub had to run the 1st of 2 b-mains and lined up in 3rd
and finished in 4th they take 3 to the main event. Chub now has
to take a Provisional
to get into tonight’s event and will start in 24th at the
drop of the green for the start Chub doing what he does best making
something out of nothing started his charge towards the front and got all
the way to 3rd and took his Corry
Rubber, Corry Laser,
Nystrom’s Auto Sales, Draime Racing
Engines, Rocket Chassis,
Pierotti Motorsports, Farr MotorSports, Chevrolet Monte Carlo and finished in 3rd position in the "Farley
75". Chub received the Hard Charger award and also took the points lead back from Balzano and is leading by 120
again. The finish for tonight was 1.
