26, 2002 – Bear Lake,Pa. Chub & the 1* Corry Rubber, Corry Laser, Nystrom’s Auto Sales, Draime Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, Pierotti Motorsports, Farr MotorSports, Chevrolet Monte Carlo team, went back to Ron Nielson’s Raceway 7 7/16 mile clay oval located in Conneaut, OH in Ashtabula County tonight for The Renegade DirtCar Racing Series sanctioned event. Raceway 7 owner Ron Nielson presented the $5,000 to win "Jay's Auto Wrecking 50" at Raceway 7 in 13 previous Renegade DirtCar visits to Raceway 7, eight different drivers have found themselves in victory circle headed up by two-time defending Renegade DirtCar Racing Series champion and current point leader Chub Frank with three wins. Chub is also the all time Super Late Model feature winner with 32 wins; his closest contender is Bruce Hordusky of Erie, Pa. with 29 wins. Carlo 1st out of 48 cars that were signed in taking the CARRERA
SHOCKS "Challenge the Clock" time trials award. Chub started 4th
in the 1st heat and finished 5th they took 4 to
the a-main so now Chub is in the first b-main starting on the pole and
he won the b-main so now he starts way back in 17th place.
Chub started his charge to the front and broke into the top
10 and finished in 8th place for the event 2002 Point Standings after 7-26-02
