"Muskingum Valley 50"

For the third time this year Chub and The Renegade DirtCar Series visited Ronald Moran’s Muskingum County Speedway just out side of Zanesville, Ohio with Bart Hartman winning the first race on May 25^th and Mike Balzano the second on May 27^th. Saturday Muskingum County Speedway owner Ronald Moran presented the $7,000 to win "Muskingum Valley 50" at his semi-banked 4/10ths mile track, this is the last 2002 appearance by The Renegade DirtCar Series at Muskingum County Speedway.  Chub and the crew unloaded the 1* after a disappointing 8^th place finish last night at Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Oh. and hoped for better results tonight. Chub qualified the 1* Corry Rubber, Corry Laser, Nystrom’s Auto Sales, Draime Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, Pierotti Motorsports, Dyers Top Rod’s, Chevrolet Monte Carlo 7^th out of 39 cars signed in for the "Muskingum Valley 50". Chub lined up for the 3^rd heat race and finished 2^nd to heat winner Robbie Blair. Now Chub would line up for the A-main in 12^th position for the 50-lap event, Chub raced the caution filled entire distance and avoided the wrecks and finished in the 6^th position. The top 5 were as follows 1^st. Mike Balzano 2^nd. Rick Aukland 3^rd. Davey Johnson 4^th. Donnie Moran and 5^th Rod Conley.
