Lester Praire, MN --- Lester Buildings, one of the largest manufacturers of engineered, wood frame building systems in the United States, has announced a major and comprehensive marketing agreement with Chub Frank Racing, a national dirt Late Model star and one of the famed 'Dirty Dozen' of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

Lester Buildings manufactures a broad range of building types, from simple storage buildings to custom commercial facilties and everything in between. Nearly 130,000 Lester® buildings dot the American landscape today, covering an area from the Rocky Mountains to the East Coast.

Chub Frank, known affectionately as 'Chubzilla', is a former four-time Renegade DirtCar Racing Series national champion who has an enormous fan-base.

"We're really excited about it," stated Larry Lembrich, Vice President of Sales for Lester Buildings. "We are fairly new into the racing game. We started in 2004 with an ASA car, and we heard of Chub's unfortunate fire through Perry Hintz of Hi Liter Graphics. We were eager to explore the opportunity to come up with something to help Chub out and help us out in terms of getting in front of dirt track racing fans."

On Tuesday March 23, a devastating fire swept through the the team's race shop. Seven fire departments responded to the early afternoon blaze that was declared a total loss.

"I think it's going to be a really great deal, one that works out well for the both of us," stated Chub Frank who is based in Bear Lake, PA. "The business they are in, we all need a place to work on our stuff. In addition to Hi Liter Graphics, Farr Motorsports of Atlanta, GA also played a big part in bringing the new marketing partnership together. "I hope it brings other major sponsors into the dirt Late Model ranks. I really think that's where it's headed in the next couple years."

As a major sponsor of the company's ASA effort, which centers around well-known ASA star, Tim Sauter, Lester Buildings is confident that marketing their products through Chub Frank Racing will provide even wider exposure to a new segment of fans and consumers. The demographics that Chub Frank Racing brings to the table fits into Lester Buildings' overall marketing strategy.

"Although we're not as familiar with dirt Late Model racing as we are with asphalt racing, we do understand the positive synergy that results from having an eastern influence as well as the numerous races this series provides," commented Lembrich. "They really work hard and race lot's of events. At each event, there are prospective Lester customers watching - consumers and business people. That's what we're after, building up brand awareness and getting the Lester name out there."

The choice of team and driver came easy to Lester Buildings. "After we heard about the fire we did the due diligence on our side and obviously checked Chub out. Chub came out of that with high praise and flying colors," said Lembrich. "We work hard to associate our business with the right type of people and there's no question Chub is right for Lester Buildings."

Chub Frank also realizes the impact and marketing opportunities that dirt Late Model racing presents to a mainstream company like Lester Buildings. "I think they are getting in the ground floor with us to connect with their ASA program and perhaps have access to additional TV coverage, which is on the horizon," said Frank. "The demographics for dirt Late Model racing include farmers, business owners and all sorts of regular folks who enjoy boating, RV-ing, collecting cars, motorcycles, etc. They tend to have these toys that need to be stored in some kind of structure. As I understand it, this personal storage building market is their largest market, so it sure seems like a perfect fit!"

Lester Buildings foray into motorsports will also include a new aggressive advertising campaign in national publications like SPEEDWAY ILLUSTRATED. Lester Buildings also recently agreed to be the "Official Commercial Builder" of the ASA National Tour through 2006.

Race fans can next see Chub Frank and Lester Buildings in his Monte Carlo #1* in action with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series on July 31 at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN, August 1 at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, IL and August 3 at I-35 Speedway in Mason City, IA.
