Mother Nature Interrupts Chub’s Tour Twice

June 14^th, 2002- Bear Lake, Pa

Rain postponed the Renegade DirtCar Racing Series at Mountain Motor Speedway near Isom, KY. just after the completion of the heat races. Renegade DirtCar Racing officials decided to postpone the Renegade DirtCar Racing Series sanctioned $5,000 to win "2nd Annual Miller Bros. Coal Classic 40". The event will be completed on Friday, June 28 with the dash and the A main event yet to be raced. Chub qualified 2^nd quick and finished 2^nd in his heat race, that puts him in the dash starting in the 5^th position, the way they finish the dash is how they will line up the first 3 rows for the feature. No other entry's for the Renegade DirtCar Racing Series sanctioned event will be allowed as the field is locked in for the"2nd Annual Miller Bros. Coal Classic 40".

Rain delays K-C Raceway Renegade DirtCar Racing Series event owner/promoters Jim Nier Sr. and Jim Nier Jr’s present the “9^th Annual Night the Stars Come Out 40” at K-C Raceway near Chillicothe, OH paying $7,000 to the winner from the more than $31,000 purse. As in years past, the All Star Circuit of Champions & NCRA Sprint Cars joined the Renegade DirtCar Racing Series on the racing card. The feature race was never finished until the early morning hours Sunday as rain moved over the speedway at the completion of the dash. After a 1 hour 20 minute break, the promoters and the track prep crew got the track back into racing shape allowing the event to be completed. Visit the K-C Raceway website at www.kc-raceway.com

Chub was one of 34 cars that entered for tonight’s feature in which he qualified 10^th quick. Chub and the 1* Corry Rubber, Corry Laser, Nystrom’s Auto Sales, Draime Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, Pierotti Motorsports, Farr MotorSports, Chevrolet Monte Carlo lined up in the 1^st heat in which he won over R.J. Conley & John Mason. Chub started the “9^th Annual Night the Stars Come Out 40” in the 7^th position and finished 11^th Donnie Moran won with Rick Aukland 2^nd & Jackie Boggs was 4^th.
