Rain postponed the Renegade DirtCar Racing Series at Mountain Motor Speedway near Isom, KY. back on June 15th and Chub and The Renegade DirtCar Series returned tonight for the rescheduled race. The race was canceled just after the completion of the heat races, and The Renegade DirtCar Racing officials decided to postpone the Renegade DirtCar Racing Series sanctioned $5,000 to win "2nd Annual Miller Bros. Coal Classic 40". until tonight with the dash and the A main event yet to be raced. Chub qualified 2nd quick and finished 2nd in his heat race, that puts him in the dash starting in the 5th position, the way they finish the dash is how they will line up the first 3 rows for the feature. Chub finished 5th in the dash with Jackie Boggs winning 2nd Mike Balzano, 3rd Chuckie May, 4th Rod Conley, 5th Chub Frank,  and 6th Davey Johnson. Chub lined up the Corry Rubber, Corry Laser, Nystrom's Auto Sales, Draime Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, Pierotti Motorsports, Farr MotorSports, Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the 5th position for the 40 lap "2nd Annual Miller Bros. Coal Classic 40" main event paying $5000.00 to win. At the start of the feature Boggs and Balzano brought the field to the green flag and Balzano won the drag race into turn one beating Boggs off of turn two to grab the lead at the end of the first lap with Conley, Johnson and Frank third through fifth. With passing at basically non-existent the field settled into a single file line and stayed that way throughout the 40 laps of feature. Chub would finish in the 5th position, with Mike Balzano taking the win 2nd. Jackie Boggs, 3rd. Rod Conley, 4th. Davey Johnson, 5th. Chub Frank, 6th. Rob Blair, 7th. Steve Shaver.
