ahead of them with 4 races in 4 days. And since one of Chub’s sponsors

sponsoring tonight’s race at Ron Nielson’s Raceway 7 the 7/16-mile
clay oval located in Conneaut, OH. Chub figured he would start the
Memorial Day weekend off at Raceway 7. For complete information on

Tonight Corry Laser presents
Tri-State Series Race tonight for Late Models, 33 laps for $3,333 to
win. The
crew unloaded the 1* Corry Rubber
Corporation, Corry Laser Technology, Nystrom’s Auto Sales, Rocket
Chassis, Paul & Pudge Pierotti Motorsports
for tonight’s event at Raceway 7.
A strong field of
55 Maloney Tool and Mold Late Models were on hand for tonight’s event.
Chub ran second in his
heat race after starting 5th and that put him in the 6th
position for tonight’s 33-lap race. Chub decided to take a chance on
tire selection for the feature which proved wrong so he headed to the
pits during a caution flag and the 1* crew headed by Mark Ward, changed
tires and Chub returned to the race. He finished the race 10th
after restarting from the rear of the field. Dan Armbruster won with
Dick Barton second and Robbie Blair was third.
