Tonight Chub & the 1* Corry Rubber Corporation, Corry Laser Technology, Nystrom's Auto Sales, Rocket Chassis, Paul & Pudge Pierotti Motorsports, Scott Performance, Slavic Custom T-shirts, Chevrolet Monte Carlo team, decided that it would be a good night to go to the famous Eldora Speedway for some practice and testing. With Earl Baltes promoting The Dream race at Eldora that pays $100,000,00 to win only two weeks away, and a Sunoco American Late Model Series race tonight this will be the last chance to get some laps at Eldora before the biggest paying race of the year, and it will draw a lot of top teams for tonight. More than 70 Dirt Late Models signed in for tonight's Sunoco American Late Model Series race with a lot of drivers thinking the same thing as Chub. He qualified 2nd out of over 70 cars entered which put Chub in the 3rd heat where he finished 2nd, they take 3 so Chub and the 1* go into the A-main for the 50 lap main event in the 8th starting position. Chub drove the Corry Rubber Corporation, Corry Laser Technology, Nystrom's Auto Sales, Rocket Chassis, Paul & Pudge Pierotti Motorsports, Scott Performance, Slavic Custom T-shirts, Chevrolet Monte Carlo to a 4th place finish and he learned a few things that will help the team for the up coming Dream Race on June 8th.
