UDTRA sanctioned  "Big Kahuna 2"

After getting rained out last night for the Renegade DirtCar Series during the second heat in which they will resume tomorrow at 4:00 with Chub Leading the 2nd heat. Chub unloaded the same car for tonight's UDTRA sanctioned 2nd Annual $15,000-to-win "Big Kahuna." At  "The Rock" Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland, MD. Chub qualified the Corry Rubber, Corry Laser, Nystrom's Auto Sales, Draime Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, Pierotti Motorsports, Farr MotorSports, Chevrolet Monte Carlo in 4th out of 75 cars entered for tonight's "Big Kahuna." at Allegany County Speedway that put Chub in the 4th  heat race starting on the pole where he finished 2nd to Mike Balzano. So he now lines up in 10th for the main event. Chub worked his way up thru the field when he made contact with Tim Hitt while going for 3rd and knocked the spoiler off the 1* and had to retire for the night. Steve Shaver the defending champion of the "Big Kahuna."  went on to win for the  second year in a row with Mike Balzano in 2nd and the rest of the top 8 were 3rd Todd Andrews, 4th Rick Aukland, 5th Steve Francis, 6th Rick Eckert, 7th Jimmy Mars, 8th Gary Stuhler
