Chubzilla Makes Show Me 100 In Debut

Bear Lake, PA --- Chub Frank of Bear Lake, PA traveled to West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, MO for the 14th Annual Show Me 100 this past weekend. It was Chubzilla’s first appearance at the crown jewel event as he qualified for the race in exciting fashion. Chubzilla is competing this season in his Lester Buildings, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Lake Shore Paving, Custom Race Engines, Rocket Chassis #1*.

After starting fifth in the third heat race Chubzilla had an arduous battle with the front runners as he made his way into third place and the final transfer spot in an exciting last lap move coming through turns three and four to take the spot which put him in the 15th starting slot for the Show Me 100 main event. During the main event Chubzilla held steady and was able to advance four positions for a 11th place finish in his debut Show Me 100 race.

Chubzilla spent Sunday May 28 racing the UMP sanctioned special event at Tri-City Speedway, Granite City, Ill., where he scored a second in his heat race, a sixth in the dash and a second in the main event.

Chubzilla will be back on the road with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series as they will travel to the upper Midwest for three $10,000 to win events in three nights. River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota presents ‘The 7 Clans 50’ Tuesday, May 30 followed by the ‘North Central 50’ at North Central Speedway in Brainerd, Minnesota scheduled for Wednesday, May 31 before wrapping up Thursday, June 1 at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota for the ‘27th Featherlite Trailers Gopher 50’.

Also, Chubzilla has announced that his all new line of 2006 merchandise in Lester Buildings colors is now available on his website on the merchandise page. The new ‘Chubzilla’ merchandise is produced by Ron Slavic and Slavic Custom Shirts & Decals, the official merchandise provider of Chub Frank Racing.
